This class was tough.
I would recommend it because the material is useful for any design engineer, let alone a controls engineer. Additionally, the course is well curved, so it is fairly easy to do well. I wouldn't recommend the course because, despite the curving, the professor is not a good lecturer. He is dry and he skips steps, making you have to catch-up. The textbook is very good in this course, but still, it can be difficult. Also, expect tough exams.
The course covers advanced applied linear algebra and differential equations, and how these equations describe physical systems and their dynamics.

Advice for students:
GET THE TEXTBOOK, it helps a lot! I would also recommend finding a YouTube lecture series on state space control because this professor's lectures are dry and hard to follow, so it would be useful to have something else to follow along with.
