Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it, not only because it fulfills the international perspectives requirement. Mrs. Meyers cares about what she is teaching and will help the students if they have a problem understanding part of the course. What the course covers is very interesting and fun to learn. If you like either Greek or Roman, especially both, then this class is perfect.

    Course highlights:

The best parts of this course was learning about the heroes of myth and legend. Not only did we compare them to how we view heroes and how heroes have changed over time, but we also learned how these myths have affected our culture and how they have been used in symbolism. Learning about the achievements, shortcomings of the heroes, and even how these paragons of society weren't perfect was fun and really interesting to learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you study the material the tests are really easy. However, make sure to pay attention to due dates and always try to finish the homework as early as possible so you don't end up trying to juggle several things at once or get stuck trying to finish a paper at the last minute.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great way to learn about something that may not be a part of your major. It is about Greek and Roman mythology and you learn a lot about ancient culture in a fun way while reading stories.

    Course highlights:

There are great conversations and debates in class about what we have read. As well as our professor will show us art depicting the myths. I have learned how to read more difficult text as well as about ancient culture and what they believe in.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the material thoroughly. Reread it if needed.
