    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is a thorough introduction to basic organic chemistry, not going too far for the needs of an engineer while supplying a strong foundation for any future learning in the field. Although my high school chemistry course left many things to be desired, I found myself with a near complete understanding of the curriculum after the class.

    Course highlights:

I personally preferred the section on inter-molecular interactions, with the curriculum taking a more in depth route to explain the reasoning behind bonding, although another well liked part of the course was the instructors tendency to replicate experiments, setting off small contained explosions, or creating glowing lights.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The testing is based more on the methodology rather then the concepts, so even if you don't have a concrete understanding of the reasoning behind an equation, you can more than easily get by with just knowledge of the use of it.

Dr. Venditti is a really cool guy, and he does some fun experiments for us.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you took Chem in high school, the first half of the class is easy.
