Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The material I learned in this course was unlike anything I have ever learned. Learning about language opened my eyes to a new understanding of the world and communication. Professor Sonsaat cares so much for her students and keeps the class lively.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing I learned in this course was about phonetics. Seeing how words are formed and learning about classifications of speech sounds was very interesting. I learned about a wide range of material from phonetics to syntax and from dialects to language around the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students considering this course should go into it with an open mind and with complete focus. The material can be difficult to understand at first, but so enlightening when it all starts to make sense. Students need to attend class and be present.
