    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is an introductory course into the Animal Science Discipline. You cover many species so that you can get a broad view of where the animal science discipline can take you.

    Course highlights:

I come from a farm background so I was already aware of many of the things we discussed in class. Even though I had a background in this information it was a good class to take. It reinforced some ideas and also gave me experience in how the animal science department wanted us to convey information.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would encourage students to take this class even if you are not an Animal Science Major because it is important for everyone to know why agriculture and animal science are so important to daily life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Best class ever! I really enjoyed going to class and the assignments weren't bad at all. Weekend quizzes really helped review for tests.

    Course highlights:

She's passionate about teaching which makes it more enjoyable to learn! We spent enough time on each species and I learned a lot more than I thought I would. Small weekend quizzes weren't hard and actually good review.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! Its worth it. I learned a lot and its not boring. Definitely worth the time going.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it takes agriculture and applies it in ways that benefit everyone in society, not just the ag majors.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was discovering how the broad term of animal science can be used to describe how the entire world population operates and how agriculture drives society.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Above all, make sure you come to class and take good notes. It seems like a simple task but the reality will soon hit of exactly how hard it is to motivate yourself to achieve when sleep is on the line.
