    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because I did learn a lot about computers and how it'll help me in the workforce. I think everyone should know general technology information because our world is moving towards more and more technology everyday.

    Course highlights:

I learned basic computer information, along with learning from an interesting professor.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend going to class (first off), taking really good notes that you understand, and make a friend in the class.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor was quite possibly the hardest professor I have ever encountered. He was teaching stuff that my MIS major friends were learning in their advanced classes. Everyone seemed to struggle, whether it be on the exams or the creation of databases. I really wish that I had a tutor for this.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to create a database from Microsoft Access. I learned in detail: how to properly manage and store data, national security issues regarding information security, how important IT is to provide a competitive advantage, Information storage from large websites like Facebook and how to keep your private information safe.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would consider getting a tutor. This class was extremely tough and taught at such a high level that it would be easy to get lost. I would also recommend utilizing the professors office hours as it would have definitely helped me and helped many of my friends. I would also recommend getting a deeper understanding of Microsoft functionality before attempting this course even if the pre requisites don't require it.
