    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is a 300-400 level course but credit is given as a 200 level course. The course is material dense, know the beginning material or you will be lost later on in the course. Study your math early and know conversions by heart so you do not have to waste time. Ask questions and do not waste recitation time.

    Course highlights:

Lab was useful and fun for this class. You are not taught MATLAB, but you have to learn it on your own to finish the labs. You are able to directly play with frequencies and wavelengths in order to manipulate signals.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard and study often. If you join a study group, make sure the group doesn't just complain the entire time - join a group that wants to do well. Dickerson gives solutions to past exams - know these exams well and know how/why the answer are what they are.
