    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking Public Speaking with Shelli! Her class isn't boring like others I've had; she definitely knows how to makes class fun and eventful.

    Course highlights:

I've lost my shyness by taking this course! Our small class makes me more comfortable when I deliver my speeches, because I feel like I know everyone in the room even though I don't.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're terrified of standing up in front of people and talking, you'll get over it very soon. If you're still having troubles, practice your speech in the mirror.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course so much! Mrs. Duncan was a wonderful experience and explained everything so wonderfully! The speech assignments are easy and fun as well! It was a blast getting to know Mrs. Duncan and learning from her great teaching.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot from taking this course. I learned how to write full sentence outlines, how to properly write an outline, how to professionally speak to a larger group of people, and how to put together an amazing speech. This course also showed me what my nervous habits or ticks were, and helped me realize them and find an alternative way to put them to a good use in my presentations. This class was definitely a great choice to take, and I would actually love to take it again!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be organized and have speeches done on the due dates! Don't forget to do your outlines, and do not be shy to ask for help!!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course too all students, no matter what field or talent level in speaking. It is good practice.

    Course highlights:

I learned to be more confident in speaking. I practiced the ability to communicate my thoughts clearly. I learned how to prepare for a speech and how to deliver it. The Highlight was learning how to use my body language and voice to make my speech more compelling to my audience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for any student taking this course is to use this course to your advantage. If there is one course that you want to go above and beyond one, it's a course that teaches the most practical skills. Communicating clearly is one of them.
