    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Prof. Hayes is by far the most difficult prof I've had at McGill, not just because his courses are extremely hard, but because he's even harder to learn from (in my opinion).

    Course highlights:

Basic calculus that involves derivatives. No highlights, this class was the worst.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I'd suggest getting to class EARLY, sitting close to the front (otherwise you won't hear him), and bring coffee and snacks to help keep yourself awake (which will be the hardest part about the class). Also, dress in layers because the classroom the lecture is usually in is freezing, while the room the tutorial is usually in is extremely hot. Practice, practice, practice if you want to do well! Also go to tutorials, you might think they're unnecessary at first, but you will thank yourself later.
