    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very good and clearly knows what he's talking about

    Course highlights:

I really felt smarter after taking this course. Very applicable knowledge and a great skill to have in this day and age

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This is the hardest course I've ever taken. Find a good tutor! It seemed like everyone in that class had prior coding experience, so it was difficult to compete with them.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very difficult and demanding course but super interesting.

    Course highlights:

I'd never done coding before and found the class extremely challenging. It is just suppose to cover the "basics" of programming but I felt as though I learned a lot of higher level things

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Requires A LOT of work! Don't take this class if you're not prepared to work hard

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Yes, it was a great intro to computer programming. I didn't really have any background knowledge on the subject, besides some very basic html, but honestly you can go in knowing nothing, and as long as you study and practice coding, you'll do well.

    Course highlights:

It looks very good on your CV if you have some sort of background in computer programming, no matter what field you plan on going into. I actually did enjoy class, where we programmed Cat objects and all that fun stuff

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start the assignments ahead of time! If you try to finish it the day before you won't, so don't procrastinate. Also there are a lot of good profs for this class, I know people loved Dan but Jackie is a really great prof as well. TA's are not that helpful or their tutorials, so I wouldn't recommend going to those. If you're struggling, it's best just to go to office hours.
