Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very helpful when it came to grading. You can tell that he really enjoys teaching and genuinely wants his students to do well. He gives a lot of hints as to what will be on the exams, and is always available to answer questions.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the different factors that affect international business, the different types of investment and levels of involvement that you can undertake depending on a number of different factors, as well as the different strategies that MNCs will use in foreign nations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to class. 10% of your grade is based on class attendance, which is a very easy way to boost your grade. 10% can make a big difference when it comes to your final mark. Additionally, make sure to do the readings. You will be tested on things that are not said in class explicitly, so unless you want to flounder on exams, actually read the textbook.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class isn't too difficult, lectures are very repetitive.

    Course highlights:

The content itself is very interesting and professor Melville is engaging but it seems to me as though he drags on lectures and stretches out content that could be covered in half the amount of time.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class or buy the textbooks. Whatever works best for you! The final and midterm are both worth 40% and non-cumulative.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Melville is an engaging teacher but everything is in the lectures are straight from the textbook.

    Course highlights:

The midterm and final are worth 40% and the final is non-cumulative which is nice. The topics itself were more or less common sense, in my opinion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you go to class and do the readings you will be more than okay. I just read the textbook, didn't go to class and got an A!
