    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Really great introduction to the subject, and I felt like it gave me a solid background in Precolonial social and cultural history especially

    Course highlights:

The course is a survey of ancient African civilizations, agriculture, trade, cultural practices, and slavery

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You should definitely do the readings - they have a lot of interesting content and if you do them it will be easy to do well. Conferences are a lot of fun and all of the TAs for the course were really nice.
