    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Gives a good theoretical background on the nature of waves and energy transfers.

    Course highlights:

For students who are interested in learning about how sound, light, and energy waves travel across different environments. In addition, it provides an interesting discussion of entropy and energy, and different ways to define temperature.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking the mathematics course Ordinary differential equations is a must, since most of the course is relating this to the physics.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very strong basics about wave mechanics, very important base for physics in general.

    Course highlights:

Using ODEs to solve motion/wave equations. Thermodynamics and statistical physics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Know your ODEs! Good introduction to combinatorics when studying thermodynamics.
