    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Abshire was by far my favorite professor so far in my time at Miami. I really look forward to her class because her lectures are genuinely interesting and informative. The only homework for this class is a weekly quiz online, and occasional responses to in-class videos.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Abshire has a great teaching style and she makes class fun. The topics discussed are very interesting so it is easy to pay attention. I really enjoyed learning about vaccines and infectious diseases.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying the lecture notes and the textbook readings is important for the exams. The online quizzes are nice because she gives 3 chances to take them. I try to do the first attempt without looking at my notes or the internet to see how much I actually know and then use the last 2 to be sure I get a perfect score.
