    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is very difficult however the professor is amazing. This class requires a lot of memorization in order to pass because of the multiple choice questions. Every exam is multiple choice which is good for some people and bad for others (such as myself). Hugenberg is extremely funny and a very well prepared professor. He gives a good presentation.

    Course highlights:

I love the professor very much. I learned a lot about different case studies involved with our topics which made it more relatable and interesting. At one point we discussed the relationship that people have with different characters from TV shows and why people get so attached to these characters. This was very interesting and a topic that I had never considered before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything and study as you go. Do not wait until the last minute to learn everything. The case studies are very important so take notes on everything he says about them because he will put them on the exams. Participate in class because the professor loves it and will be more willing to do things like push a due date or make the final not cumulative.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this to anyone, regardless if they're a pathology major! The professor was well versed in the subject, and while they were some difficult concepts he made it easy to understand them, and used real world examples to help further explain the implications of these concepts.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much more knowledge about social psychology and various cultural implications from it. I learned about why people are conditioned to help others, where prejudice stems from, and other topics on human behavior in various social settings.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important piece of advice I can give for this course is to read the book! When it comes to tests, about 25% of the questions come straight from the text and are not at all mentioned in lecture.
