    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class truly expanded my view of race in the United States, throughout the world, and at Miami University. The teacher was very biased, but in an acceptable way. She encouraged us to speak our minds and to talk about pressing issues our country faces today. It was refreshing to have a teacher that really valued your own opinion as well as questioning certain aspects of society when it comes to racial matters.

    Course highlights:

I learned the importance of understanding and a deeper knowledge about what the African American race had to endure throughout the course of the history of our country. It was refreshing to hear the other side of the argument.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Participate and read the assigned readings to help with the quizzes as well as class discussions.
