Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Burak is such a great professor- he is funny, engaging and makes learning about economics interesting and relatable. The course is challenging...you will definitely have to put in work. But if you adequately study and prepare for the exams, you will be rewarded and he will see to it. He heavily draws upon microeconomic theory, which allows for his students to use the knowledge from previous courses to be applicable in his course.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to study for an exam. This course is only 100 grade points, and exams are a significant portion of that total amount, so they are very important. Learning how to actually learn information to the point where it is applicable rather than just temporary was something I picked up from the course, as well as learning that your professor is there for your benefit. Utilizing office hours to ensure your success in a course is crucial.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO OFFICE HOURS and regularly email the professor. He is very cordial and will help you through any issues you may be having. If you are a business student, ECO 202 is a requirement. I cannot recommend taking Burak's course highly enough. You will learn so much, not only of economic theory but of how to be a better student!
