    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This Introduction to Biopsychology course was definitely fun, and I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. The professor was incredible, and she was very informative. She went above and beyond to make sure all questions were answered thoroughly. At the end of the course, I felt like I had gained a great amount of knowledge regarding the subject matter.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much from this course! I did a mini research paper regarding the controversial subject of animal use in research, and I also wrote a final research paper regarding the effectiveness of using drugs to treat Schizophrenia. We learned the general anatomy of the brain, and exactly how the neurons work in order to fire. We spent a great amount of time learning the different neurotransmitters, neurosurgery tactics, and different behavioral disorders. It was a very informative class!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The only main advice I would have for this class is to absolutely read the textbook. There are several complex models that are taught and it was so much easier to have a general knowledge of what was to come. The final research paper was announced at the beginning of the course, and I would recommend getting started with the research immediately. It would be too much if solely done at the end of the semester.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Biopsychology was an extremely intense, but highly rewarding and interesting class. You definitely need to study to get a good grade!

    Course highlights:

Inter-workings of the human brain and basic brain anatomy. We also learned how drugs effect the CNS and the PNS.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attendance is key! Review, review, review. If you do not understand any of the material, be sure to ask for help from your professor before you get to lost in the information.
