    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Great professor that gives great feedback. Very approachable as well. She enjoys what she teaches which made the students excited to engage in the material she taught. The course goes through many concepts and theories regarding cognitive psychology.

    Course highlights:

I learned in depth about memory, language, thinking, learning, and how we process information. Throughout the course, four major projects were to be completed. These projects had you incorporate different concepts to create one big concept, which I found very unique and interesting. This showed me how separate theories still relate and coincide with one another in cognitive psychology.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Always read! The readings give you all of the information you need to do well in the course. Also, pay attention to the professor's feedback that she provides. They will assist in ways to improve on future assignments. Give yourself enough time to do the projects, as they can be time consuming due to the fact that you must apply multiple concepts into one project.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Smart is really willing to work with his students. Utilize his office hours because he tends to be more lenient on students who do. He truly wants his students to succeed. Bonus points if you become and Undergraduate research assistant in his lab!

    Course highlights:

His coverage of Human Factors and Ergonomics and the project he assigns is really interesting because it forces you to understand the importance of collaborative design.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Really pay attention in class and you'll find there's limited studying you'll have to do outside of the course.
