Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is what finally pushed me past the cusp of French from a struggling student to an active participant. It has a sometimes daunting amount of forced participation and class presentations but these are exactly what pushed me to become a successful French minor.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the course readings chosen by Professor Klosowska. Particularly, she chose only one book from various genres. We read a biography, a novel, a book of poetry, and all always winners of the French Prix Goncourt--like the French literary oscars based on popular vote.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read and it really helps to practice the daily presentations ahead of time, bot winging it.
