Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this to anyone that wants an accessible lesson on child development.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the development of children, physically, emotionally, and cognitively.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There is 6 hours that you have to spend outside of the classroom, in a daycare or preschool, to observe children and then do a project based on your observations. So, my main piece of advice would be to make sure that anyone considering this course has the time to spend doing this.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For anyone entering a career field involving young children, or anyone planning on having children of their own, this class is amazing! I learned so much about the day to day development and needs of children and Professor Holmes was great.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was Professor Holmes' approach toward teaching. You could tell from the first day that she was there to support your learning and help you do well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the time to do the reading and study your notes. Most of the exam questions are taken right out of the Professor's power points and she often goes over old exams so go to the in-class review sessions.
