Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking Russia/Soviet Union with Alicja! She cares about students' learning and is always there to help when you have questions. The assignments take plenty of thought, but you really do learn from them!

    Course highlights:

The best part about this course is that it was pretty self-paced. There were 5 big assignments and 3 tests throughout the semester so we had plenty of time to work and study the material.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Since the assignments are pretty lengthy, don't wait until the last minute to start or ask for help. She gives you plenty of time to work, so take advantage of it!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend because Dr. Basom is an amazing professor and really cares about what he is teaching! You will learn so much!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of knowledge about Russia that I didn't have before. It was really fun to learn about all of the different writers and musicians that came from Russia, as well as learning about Russia's rough history through Lenin and Stalin.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and take lots of notes!
