    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is a general ed class required by most STEM majors, so its a must take. The professor knows his material well, but can be somewhat cold when dealing with a student who has an issue. If you're looking for a class to actually learn and retain some information from this would be the one section to take.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the class we mostly worked on the ideas of variation and standard deviation across a few more specific mediums, as well as just general probabilty. More specific topics we went over were confidence intervals, probability distributions, hypothesis testing and correlation & regression.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

While taking this particular course and professor, start early in the week. He usually sets hard deadlines for everything for midnight of the Sunday that week (note that this is an online course). Additionally he grades pretty easy on the weekly discussions and weights most of your grades on the tests for the end of each chapter (40%), the final (30%) and the homework (~10-15%), discussion is the least heavily graded at ~4%.
