Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely despised accounting before having taken this course. I had to take accounting I twice in order to pass. Then, with a 5 year gap in between, took accounting II. Not only did I pass the course with a 95%, I actually enjoyed the material for the most part and even considered changing my major to accounting. Mrs. Akao does a great job with the material.

    Course highlights:

This course deals with the accounting procedures for small businesses and corporations. Things such as admitting or withdrawing partners from partnerships, issuing stock and paying dividends, and reading actual financial information to make informed investing decisions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to review all accounting I information and know how to prepare the balance sheet, income statement, etc. It would also be handy to have basic knowledge of different business models such as LLC, Sole Proprietorships, and Corporations.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a requirement for most business students and Janice is a good Professor.

    Course highlights:

I learned more of the basics of accounting after taking accounting 1.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study very well for each exam and ask questions if you don't understand.
