Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is very calm and unstressful, but at the same time, we learn so much!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to successfully write an excellent research paper.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Even if Comp 2 is not a requirement, it is still incredibly beneficial. For this specific course, some tips I have are: 1. Always check online assignments. 2. Work ahead.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Friends is a great Liberal arts college and has some of the best professors there are. Our teacher for COMP 201 made this general education course fun and engaging.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included (but were not limited to) reading interesting stories, sharing your insights with others, learning diction and punctuation, and participating in a friendly learning environment.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Compared to other classes this was not my favorite, because it was a general education course. But even if it is not your favorite class, I would advise you to continue working hard to achieve good grades. Also, participation in this class is key so alway attend the class!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely important on refining writing skills that were not taught in high school. Mrs. Priebe is extremely supportive and always pushing students to be better. When students pass this course, they will be able to write well written essays for any class.

    Course highlights:

I gained the ability to tell the difference between a persuasive essay and an argumentative essay. I gained basic skills that allow me to write an essay about any topic for almost any setting. I can now write research papers, response papers, persuasive, and argumentative papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask about points marked off. Sometimes professors are not clear about why they take points off. If you want to get better and prevent points being taken off in the future, then you must know what you did wrong. The best way to find out is to ask the professor. It also earns you brownie points with the professor.
