    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for students who enjoy discussions. Susan Cook is well versed in this subject and even though there is a lot of reading, and memorizing chapters there is also discussions. These discussions sometimes reach a personal level making them all the more beneficial, and relevant to the coursework.

    Course highlights:

The discussions about different mental illnesses were the best because students chimed in with their own experiences, and the instructors example were always interesting. We learned about Bipolar disorder, Depression, Anxiety and many more. We also heard examples about a man with mental illnesses that suffered an injury to his brain causing him to lose the illnesses he had.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course the student must participate in class. Listen, give input, and do not be afraid to ask questions. Much of this course is going to be new to people so the best way to learn is to pay attention. Also remember to read the chapters. The materials covered in class are always in addition to what is in the book, so it is still important for the student to read the chapters.
