Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Raab is an incredible professor. He understands the pressures that come with being a college student. There are only four exams throughout the semester and the final exam is not cumulative. He enjoys engaging the students in discussions and truly wants you to understand other cultures.

    Course highlights:

We learned about how cultures develop and the different factors that determine their features. We studied the aspects that affect culture, such as marriage, family, sex, and politics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Having an interest in the subject is essential to succeeding in this class. The professor is passionate about what he teaches, if you are passionate as well, you will get more out of the course. Take detailed lecture notes in class. Use these notes and the powerpoint slides to study for the exams. Exams do not include "trick" questions so studying the information from the lectures will prepare you for the exams.
