Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking this course with Professor Weigand. She was my favorite professor this semester. She was so intelligent and well versed in her subject. She always knew how to answer our questions, and made the class interesting and fun.

    Course highlights:

I learned the significance of microbes and what their role is in society. I also learned about the stages of disease, and even went into specific diseases that are common in our society.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I read the textbook every day, and took notes in class. I also watched the professor's online videos and went over her power points daily. There were some times that I went in to speak with her and ask questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this lab class by J. Cunningham because in this class you find and learn more about doing your won experiments and learn more due to the fact that the whole class is based off of your own experiment.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about conducting experiments and learning more about cultures taken on bacteria. This helps in the nursing field because you take lots of cultures on patients and need to know the whole process on how they come to a conclusion.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a good class their is not a lot of outside school work besides the paper you right and a few quizzes that are super easy if you pay attention in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr Seitz is very passionate about her class, she genuinely wants her students to learn the material and do well in her class.

    Course highlights:

We were assigned groups from day 1 and I learned how to study together as a team. I also learned the differences between the different pathogens and how the immune system works!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I used quizlet to make notecards and I took notes from the book. This class will be easier if you read the chapters before class and the use quizlet to study for the exams.
