    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was the perfect class to take over the summer and not at a big university. Being nervous about public speaking I did not want to take it at a big university with a large class size. The class was very interactive and I became a lot more comfortable with my skills.

    Course highlights:

We did not have much homework at all which was a big perk considering it being summer. We also were aloud to us note sheets on our tests, this was helpful. I learned about how to organize and format speeches better, deal with stage freight, keep my audience engaged, and the preparation for a speech.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

One tip I would give is to just attend class, it is an easy way to gain points. You also get the information presented to you in a straight forward way and it is not unnecessary information. If you don't show up to class and have to learn the material on your own there will be a lot of guessing what to study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this professor! She gave us helpful tips and was always understanding during our time in public speaking.

    Course highlights:

We learned how to give a proper speech, different types of speeches, and mainly how to not judge or pre judge someone for their speech topic. The highlights included listening to the speeches and to the advice that the professor had to give.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the textbook when it comes to the tests. Never write your speech the night before.
