    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because although the work is hard, it is a class that can be beneficial to many lines of work that pay good money.

    Course highlights:

The classmates were very helpful when the teacher was busy with another student. I learned about Derivatives, Integration by Parts, and L'Hopital's rule which is very important when talking about Limits.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study often and at least start working on the homework assignments as they are assigned as to not get behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great class for pushing yourself into an in depth understanding of calculus. I just transferred to a prestigious 4-year school and I am well ahead of 9/10 students even here, thanks to this class. However, it's an enormous amount of work to actually stay on top of. Be ready to watch hours of Kahn Academy videos every night if you want an A.

    Course highlights:

Actually understanding a number of obscure calculus topics, like the meaning of the differential term.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Write down the chapter title for every section you get to, then search for videos on Youtube using those titles. Kahn Academy and anything else you can find. Watching videos constantly and drilling on practice problems every night got me through this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's not a bad class, just know your algebra well and try not to take shortcuts very much or else you could mess up pretty bad. Instructor isn't bad but she's a very big stickler on math grammar.

    Course highlights:

Finally learning derivatives instead of the limit process. It's valuable to know that algebra well always be there and you need to know it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Know your algebra and trig functions.
