Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was a frank and honest look at the latter history of the United States. If you pay attention, you can learn about what is good about our country, and what needs work.

    Course highlights:

I believe the highlight of the course was being called a communist by a fellow classmate. I learned just how nationalistic some of our citizens can be.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Don't forget the discussion posts!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because I found the subject rather interesting, the teacher is very kind.

    Course highlights:

I already knew most of the material from previous US history classes back in High school, although learning about how the US progressively became the strongest nation in the world prior to World War I and then plunged into debt interested me especially considering that the war had not been why the US had entered debt but rather the mistakes of banks in the 20s.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly suggest taking notes in class. She does slideshows and you learn most of what you need to know from the slides.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I did not enjoy history until this class. Professor Walker is the best! He cares so much about what he is teaching and makes it fun to learn. I want to go back and take the other courses he teaches just for fun!

    Course highlights:

I wrote my first 25 pg paper. That sounds awful but it was a great experience and I would 100% do it again. I learned so much about to Cold War and feel like an expert when I talk about the events that occurred during that time period. I never thought I would enjoy learning about history, much less the Cold War.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are ok with writing papers. There is no weekly homework so most of the class points come from papers.
