Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

New Orleans Literature, it was one of the best classes I've had at KU so far, I am a design major so this was not in my field but I still loved every class.

    Course highlights:

Class is discussion based but the informality and depth of the discussion lent to a great environment for learning something new.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the selections and you will be fine. Dion is a good teacher that does not rely on dates and names too much. If he sees you having critical thoughts, you will not need to worry about a grade.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was so much fun. The professor was awesome, the topic (How to Become a Rap Genius) was actually very challenging and engaging. Seriously learned so much and had a blast!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the history of Rap music and the overall Hip-Hop culture, as well as the general experience of Black men and women in the modern United States of America.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You had better love Rap music or be at least a little interested in it. For what it sounds like it's very challenging, but if you're up to it it's well worth it and a whole lot of fun.
