    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

PSYC 104 is an excellent course to take as a freshman. It is an introductory course that is good for any major. It teaches you stuff that just isn't important for selected majors, but also general important information that's interesting to know and have knowledge about. I really enjoyed this class because it can be very hands on and allows for a lot of opportunities to get involved in the real world.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human brain and how our body reacts to it. The specific class I was in the professor was very hands on and allowed for many opportunities to participate in research studies to get you using psychology in the real world. He was a very good speaker and didn't just read and teach from the textbook, he found different ways for us to learn that were engaging and made the class fun.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I would give about any Psychology class would be to take a lot of notes. All the stuff learned in these courses are super relevant and important and it's in ones best interest to note down what they are learning because at times a lot of information can be thrown at you. But taking notes is a really helpful way to study and retain the information.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you love Psychology, then I would highly recommend this class! It goes over the basics and goes into a little more depth about the mind. Its is very interesting and I think everyone should give it a try. Broaden your horizons!

    Course highlights:

This course has taught me how the mind works in various different ways. It has taught me why we do the things we do. For example, my favorite subject we learned was conforming and why we humans need to conform to feel "normal" and "fit in". That was really interesting to learn about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is very challenging! The final exam is the hardest and you actually have to study for this one! I cannot stress this enough! Please, please make sure that you are studying each chapter every night and really absorbing the information. It will help you so much in the end. Another thing, get your SONA credits it ASAP! Do not wait until the last minute to finish your SONA. First week of that class you can get them taken care of, so please do!! Its a hybrid class as well, so a lot of the homework is online so please keep up with that, write reminders if you have to!
