    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor was awful. I would recommend taking this course with another professor.

    Course highlights:

This course was the perfect highlight reel of what to expect as a psychology major. You touch base on almost all aspects of the psychological field as well as the research side.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to read the book thoroughly, never skip class and study diligently for exams. This will only benefit you in the long run because you will have mastered basic concepts before progressing to more difficult classes.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

PSYC 104 is an excellent course to take as a freshman. It is an introductory course that is good for any major. It teaches you stuff that just isn't important for selected majors, but also general important information that's interesting to know and have knowledge about. I really enjoyed this class because it can be very hands on and allows for a lot of opportunities to get involved in the real world.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human brain and how our body reacts to it. The specific class I was in the professor was very hands on and allowed for many opportunities to participate in research studies to get you using psychology in the real world. He was a very good speaker and didn't just read and teach from the textbook, he found different ways for us to learn that were engaging and made the class fun.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I would give about any Psychology class would be to take a lot of notes. All the stuff learned in these courses are super relevant and important and it's in ones best interest to note down what they are learning because at times a lot of information can be thrown at you. But taking notes is a really helpful way to study and retain the information.
