Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it forces you to to critically read and absorb the information given to you, and then go to discussion groups where you can process and communicate your thoughts about readings to your peers.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about Plato and Aristotle's writings - I feel like it gives me the ability to communicate with more people about a topic that is not necessarily talked about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please read what the professor assigns to you, it might not make sense now, but it will definitely make more sense during group discussions and lectures! Also, do not be afraid to contact your TA about questions you have -- they are all there for a reason, and its because they're all genuinely passionate and interested in philosophy and teaching others.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was all over the place. Lectures taught nothing about the materials that were on the tests and the TA's were not helpful.

    Course highlights:

Did not learn much. this class set you up to fail

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try and get a different Professor, and make sure to read the book and email the teacher with ques questions before the test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class was very interesting and absorbing but often a lot of the topics went over my head.

    Course highlights:

We learned various ethical schools of thought, including topics such as utilitarianism, deontology, and virtue ethics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't miss class. Often if you miss even one class you can miss important notes and topics that will definitely be covered at length in the final or midterm.
