    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Introduction to Chemistry in college is a different experience that high school Chemistry. Dr. Townsend is a challenging professor. However, because of this Chemistry makes it easier to learn as well as easier to challenge oneself. Dr. Townsend is very approachable, very direct and willing to help in any way possible to make sure the material is understood correctly.

    Course highlights:

Through this course, I learned how to solve equations in a much simpler form than ever before. An example would be with Moles with multiple steps in the process. I loved how Dr. Townsend made sure all resources were available to understand the material, including time in class to fill out worksheets practicing the material before moving on the to the next lesson.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

One piece of advice I would give to students would be to not be afraid to participate and ask questions in class. There are no stupid questions. Also, review thematerial learned during each weeks lessons constantly. You learn a lot and this will help make studying less stressful. Lastly, I would recommend study groups. It helps when another class mate can help you understand material that was confusing to you but makes sense to them.
