    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Thompson can be difficult to follow in lectures but it's because he is well informed on the subjects he's teaching about and gives you plenty of information on it. For some students, mainly people who are not history majors, find this to be challenging when studying for exams but I enjoy it because it allows me to take everything learned in the lectures and condense it down to a simple history story which allows me to pass the exams.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoy ancient civilizations so honestly this course was not all that exciting to me but when we got to the Holocaust and World War II I thoroughly enjoyed those lectures. Also, I loved learning about the Kings and Queens of England, the Tudors and really this course sparked my interest in English History.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a lot of notes over pretty much anything talked about during the lectures and review review review when studying for the exams. He gives you the exam dates at the beginning of the course so you have plenty of time to prepare for each exam.
