    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As an individual who has a desire to go into medicine, Biology is an important baseline subject to know. The course Gen Bio is important in building that knowledge in Biology since it encompasses the basics of biology. I would recommend this course for individuals who believe in building their knowledge revolving around human life and organisms. Students should be aware of what and how this come into this earth and form on a scientific basis. Although the course was very informative, I believe the professor could of put in more effort into helping students gain a better grasp on the subject.

    Course highlights:

From this particular course, I learned the basics of human life and the formation of organisms. I learned how one organism is able to live and thrive on earth. It is essential to understand how us as human beings are able to live and survive on this earth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is based on the ability to absorb information and connecting a series of topics together in order to fully understand the subject as a whole. Read the chapters the professors will be lecturing on prior to attending the lecture in order to understand what the professor will be lecturing on since the professor does go on a rapid pace. Listen attentively during lecture and take note of anything you do not understand. Right after lecture, look over the chapter and take notes of anything you do not understand then do more further reading into that particular topic. Create note sheets for each chapter so there will be something you can review a few days before the test.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Bin Shuai is a great teacher because she makes her own powerpoint, which I can study from and learn as well. She likes to to go over her subjects really well, however just be prepared for the tests.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much information from this course, such as what DNA is made up of, the meiosis and mitosis stages, and genetic information on how it is inherited and passed down through generations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to read the book, go over the powerpoints that are given, and go to class everyday.
