    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Prof. Quirin is very respectful and makes sure his students understand the material as well as have fun.

    Course highlights:

Prof. Quirin set us the class to for the ease of students. He always handed back homework, went over test, answered any questions via email or in person. He was very responsive and gives plenty of resources. One benefit of his class in the end of the semester project, which taught me to read 10K statements and how to decide what company to purchase stock in.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class and actually study the power points. He gives full credit for homework if you do it, he will give out quizzes and mini-test for participation and assignment points. The material on the mini-test are on the real test.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a large class, around 160 students. So I was just a number rather than a person. I prefer smaller classes where the professor gets to know me and my study habits. The class also was more banking based and not what you expect for a course titled accounting. Stick it out though, it'll be worth it!

    Course highlights:

I learned that I needed glasses! Make sure that you aren't straining your eyes, sit close enough where you feel comfortable reading the slides. You don't want to put extra stress on yourself while trying to make it through a class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stick with it! It gets very dry and boring, I hate to say. It is a necessary foundation though for the rest of your accounting courses.
