Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

His class really helped me to understand some of the ideas that are running through the kinda of our country and how we can either embellish them and make them move faster, or how we can demolish them and make them stop.

    Course highlights:

I gained insight on what really happens in American politics, and with such a diverse class, I learned about other cultures and their opinions of American Society. I also learned how to properly write lengthy essays without being repetitive.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't wait too long or until the last minute to write essays, most likely, they won't be the best that they could have been. Also, do the journals he assigns, they may not seem like much, but getting behind on just a few can do some damage to the final grades.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me gain a better understanding of English. The teacher was wonderful and knowledgeable as well as personable. This class is a required prerequisite for Wichita State students, however, I would recommend it regardless.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me the proper way to write research papers and how to gather information for said papers, which is very helpful for future classes. I have a better understanding on citations and how to structure well-written essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to stay on top of your work! Don't push off the journal entries until the last minute because those easy points could make or break your grade at the end of the semester. Keep in communication with Olivia, she really likes when students get in touch with her with questions and concerns about the course so she can help and improve the class.
