Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is hands down one of the most down to earth teachers I have ever had. Although the course just started, I can already tell i will enjoy it. It's already my favorite!

    Course highlights:

I have so far already learned to look at life a lot differently. I learned the true definition of sociology, and how different groups have turned me into the person I am today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for a lot of challenging reading, and give yourself enough time to completely read everything. The more time you give yourself, the more you can go back over it to make sure you understand it, which will help you incredibly.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the instructor. Dr. Perez is very knowledgeable and will answer any question in depth to make sure you truly understand what is going on.

    Course highlights:

The main thing that stuck with me about this course was exploring the experiment of an elementary school that used eye color to segregate the students. It showed me how racial discrimination or any discrimination for that matter really alters a person's behavior. I always enjoyed doing a few research papers because it gave me the chance to do my own investigation on society and human behavior.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you follow the guidelines for the handful of research papers that you will write. That will usually be enough to get a good grade on the paper. Also, make sure you attend every class because you did get extra credit points added to your grade for just showing up some days. When it comes to Tests, be sure to do the study guide and look through lecture notes.
