Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the course is challenging, but also interesting. It allows for students to learn something while maintaining their attention. It incorporates the rise of modernity and how it affected our world.

    Course highlights:

This course being my first college course proved challenging, but I found that the amount of new information that I learned kept me entertained. My base knowledge of the time period expanded and I was able to look at the world with a new perspective. I learned where much of the liberal line of thought as well as much of the conservative line of thought came from.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for other students either taking this course or considering taking this course would be to stay focused. Western Civ II not the most difficult class in the world, but that does not mean that it does not provide a challenge. Students need to remain focused, not lose track of what needs to be done and work their hardest to get the best grade they can.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

History itself does not interest me at all, but this course helped me like history more than I used too. The professor is funny and he is always willing to answer our questions and offer his time to meet students one on one to help you with studying.

    Course highlights:

It helped me build my ability to identify which informations are significant and necessary. He has a list of key terms on a sheet of paper and he just starts talking about it as if he is telling a story to us. Therefore, its not just boring informations but he uses different tones to emphasis the important facts so it was easier for me to learn the specific incidents that happened during French revolution and what Louis XIV had done.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend each class and may attention to what the professor has to talk about each key terms. If you fall asleep, you will lose the information! However, before the test, he will go through the study guide, so if you pay close attention to that you should be pretty good.
