    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course helped connect class materials with real world issues. With intensive training and long hours studying, I was able to volunteer as a certified tax return agent during the tax period (January 15 -March 16) in the town where I currently reside. This was a life learning experience that I would like to share, and also highly recommend other fellow business students to take an income tax class that would ease the tax returns for many more citizens.

    Course highlights:

This class focused on individual income tax deductions, gross and adjusted gross income, and tax related issues depending on the location. I learned that individuals are taxed differently as a function of where they live and/or where they execute a transaction. I also learned that there are requirements for deductions that apply to families from a spectrum of their statuses of filing (single, head of household, or married etc).

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend every student to read, reread, and write down the calculations in order pass with a good grade. The material can be really confusing.
