Course Overview:

This is a very good course to take if you are looking into being a social worker. The content helps to better explain what it means to be a social worker and why the profession exists.

Course highlights:

It is required in this course to acquire 25 hours or more of volunteer work which gives students a great peek at what being a social worker is really like and puts your foot in the door for potential jobs in the future.

Hours per week:

3-5 hours

Advice for students:

Read when she tells you to read. Always pre-plan for assignments. She isn't always going to tell you when assignments are due so you should check you syllabus multiple times a week.
