    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I was not a fan of this course because it has a lot of reading and writing assignments that were not interesting to me.

    Course highlights:

We talked a lot of ancient stories such as the Odyssey and Plato. We also learned about ancient architecture and sculptures.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours and do as much of the readings as you can.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Take this course to have your mind blown with in depth analysis of classic literature and ancient art.

    Course highlights:

The professor perpetually uncovered content and ideas within a piece of literature that would segway my thought process to new questions and even more in depth connections.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE MATERIAL. I cant stress how important it is to actually read and understand the material. To be able to participate in class and have your mind set up to be blown, is to actually read the assignments and understand them so you can participate in discussion and make your own connections.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course isn't easy, I won't deny that. You'd better be prepared to take a comprehensive HUM class with some aspects of both an art class and a history class integrated into it. Be that as it may, if you can handle that sort of thing then you will DEFINITELY enjoy this class.

    Course highlights:

The professor is enthusiastic, witty, and committed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your reading to the best of your ability and don't procrastinate on papers. Seriously. Also, flash cards are your friends.
