Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's basically a review of what you learn in high school, just a more detailed version. And explains a lot and works well with the Lab.

    Course highlights:

Fun labs, hands on activities, and rare homework. Able to contact the professor if need be.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Review the slides, always do the online quizzes. And participate in the labs basically just review of the class but hands on perspective.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. B is more than willing to help her students out! There aren't many "buffer" points so make sure everything that you turn in (tests, homeworks, etc.) count! With a good effort this class can be one of the best, most enriching parts of your Biology foundation!

    Course highlights:

Bio 112 dove deep into the ecology part of biology. I finally understood phylogenetic trees with this course!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't memorize! Learn to APPLY the material to different situations. The tests are not straightforward. The key to success is ensuring you can take text material and apply it to any situation it might pertain to.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A lot of the course builds off of the basic principles of Biology which makes it relatively simple. My favorite part of it is relating it back to everyday life. After you take this course you look at things differently. For me, I relate everything back to the survival of the earth and how fast we are destroying it which is terrifying.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things, a lot of which many people find boring, but one of the most interesting things I learned that I think everyone should take interest in is how our advancement on earth is slowly killing it. If we progress the way we are now, by 2050 over 15–37% of the species 6 biodiversity-rich regions will go extinct. We are killing ourselves.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Study! Study! This class is about memorization, you have to be able to memorize the material to pass the test. Make sure you give yourself ample time to study the material and know it very well.
