    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you are going to be living in the Appalachian area, it is extremely important to learn about the history and culture of the area around you. This course gives a fantastic insight into what Appalachia is, and I highly suggest it.

    Course highlights:

I learned about what Appalachia is. The culture and the people in Appalachia are not always fully understood, but I now understand what the people here stand for, and have been taught that not all the stereotypes are true. I have also gained an in depth knowledge about the history of Appalachia, ranging from the Native Americans to today.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course as a throw away easy A. The course is interesting and fun if you allow yourself to learn about what Appalachia is.
