Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Monk was one of those teachers who is quite intimidating at first, but if you are there to learn and take the class seriously she is a fantastic teacher. She loves the work she does and is amazing at her job. You're there as an adult, and that is the way that she treats you. She has zero tolerance for people who are not there to learn. So be prepared.

    Course highlights:

Ms. Monk has connections, and with these connections, she's able to bring in guest speakers that are just fascinating. You will learn so much about the world around you, and it will open your mind. Life isn't black and white. It is many, many shades of grey.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't go in there expecting this course is going to be simple just because it's an intro course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! Professor Dixon was a great teacher and he helped me open my mind and challenged me to think about thing id never given a second thought before hand.

    Course highlights:

The main point of this class is to understand the different theories on sociology. You'll learn about the different sociologists who devoted their life to sociology and created these theories. You'll start to understand why we as people do some of the things we do and you'll start to question why we do some of the things we do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stick it out! The first half of the semester is tough! It focuses mainly on learning the theories and sociologists. The second half of the semester is so much fun!
