Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great hands on experience. Worked at an independant pace. Great minds with great instructors. All sharing. All alike. As students, we were evaluated by industry professionals for our finals. Experienced team work as well as independent. Our instructors were seasoned professionals and teach at local colleges. This 2 year program affords students the opportunity for a wide array of certifications, as well as internships.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the KCTC Information Technology were many. For me, the ability to have deadlines to meet (assignments), but accomplishing them at an independant pace was an eye opening experience. This experience was truly working on a college level, not high school. As much as I felt I had the world conquered, I soon learned that organizational skills were in desperate need of fine tuning. The instructors were amazing. Group and solo projects were enlightening. And, the certifications are an excellent credential for finishing a high school career.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would pass along to those considering this opportunity for your junior and senior year is: organization. Organization is the key element for maturity. Organization will provide one with the needed tools to get the most out of this KCTC experience. Do not put off today, what can be done tomorrow. For tomorrow, you will have many opportunities to continue to expand your world.
