Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a challenging course with a lot of difficult homework. However if you take the time to not only figure out the homework (instead of finding the answers on the web) and understand the material, you will be very successful on the exams. By mastering this material it will also help prepare you for the FE exam that you have to take upon graduation.

    Course highlights:

Learning how different types of forces can produce different results was very interesting. Like how a 40lb weight and a 40lb force pulling on a rope can produce different velocities and accelerations from what the rope is attached to.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you understand to material. Do not just memorize how to do certain problems because every one of them are different. There are many problems that even if you have the formulas memorized you will still need to understand what the problem is asking in order to know how to apply the formulas.
