    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's fun! Dr. DeSantis has a great energy and is very passionate about this subject content. It will make you excited to learn about it to! This course inspired me to be a Communications minor.

    Course highlights:

I gained the ability to become a better communicator from this course. This course examines communication skills in a multitude of environments, including virtual, face to face, and through the media. Improving my personal communication skills through the insight I learned in this course has helped my interpersonal communication with friends and family as well as my professional communication with work and professors.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give students considering this course is to be sure to have good attendance. You will cover all important exam concepts during class and will get the most out of the course if you attend. This is also a very fast paced class. I liked the fast paced nature of this course because it kept it exciting. If you don't work well in this environment, the professor was always open to meet with students at the end of class or after class regarding information that may not be clear.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would only take this class because it is an easy A. Dr. Desantis is sort of arrogant and I did not care for his style of teaching.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were that I finished with an A. I didn't really learn much in this class because it was all taking notes and memorizing the notes for the test; then forgetting what you learned the week after.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want an easy A, this is the class for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

DeSantis teaches a very intruiging class. He tends to rub a lot of people the wrong way, though. Pretty easy class in which you learn a lot about the world, yourself, and the subject material.

    Course highlights:

It should be renamed "The Psychology Behind Communication 101".

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the notes thoroughly for the exams. If you do that, you will be fine. Also, don't skip! Even though it is a large lecture, he assigns seats and takes attendance.
